Generational
Building Trust
Project overview
Generational is a digital-first trust company built to modernise how families protect and transfer wealth across time. Operating under Jersey Trust Company regulation, the platform combines institutional-grade trusteeship with a calmer, more accessible digital experience for families often underserved by traditional trust structures. We were tasked with creating a brand identity and website that could hold both authority and humanity together, giving the business the credibility of an established institution without relying on the familiar visual language of private banking or consumer fintech.

Project details
The identity system was built around the idea of generational flow. The symbol uses rotational geometry to represent continuity, progression, and the way decisions shape future generations over time. Repeated segments create a sense of measured movement and governance, while the softened execution keeps the brand approachable and human. Supporting typography was chosen for clarity and restraint, balancing institutional confidence with warmth and legibility across digital products, legal documentation, signage, and physical applications. Black and white reportage-style photography was introduced to ground the system in real family moments, helping the brand feel emotionally aware without becoming sentimental.
Alongside the identity, we designed and developed a fully responsive website focused on clarity, reassurance, and education. Rather than feeling transactional, the experience was designed to guide families through complex decisions at a deliberate pace using simple language, structured content, and calm visual hierarchy. Educational resources, onboarding journeys, and supporting content were all designed to make trusts feel more understandable and accessible without reducing the seriousness of the subject matter. Across digital and physical touchpoints, the wider system uses controlled geometry, framing devices, and restrained motion to reinforce ideas of oversight, continuity, and long-term stewardship.
