Potting Shed is looking for a developer to join our team in either Guernsey or Jersey. Not wanting to get all "M&S" about it, but we aren't looking for just any developer... we are looking for a Potting Shed developer.
"What the hell does that mean?" I hear you cry. Well, I'm glad you asked.
It means a developer that is fluent in the languages listed below, but also able to explain complex issues in plain English. An individual that can translate beautiful designs into beautiful lines of code... without forgetting to check the leading. Someone with an eye for detail but also able to see the bigger picture.
Above all, we want someone who wants to feel proud of their work. Someone that will go home and show their friends/partner/lovers/parents: "I made that".
Some bullet points (we know you developers love a bullet point list):
- Excellent Knowledge of HTML, CSS & JavaScript
- Ideally experience in both ASP.Net & PHP (Laravel)
- Pixel perfect eye for detail
- Solid understanding and experience of server setup and deployment of websites
- Passionate about JavaScript tools, frameworks and the future of JavaScript
- Experience working with a source control system such as GIT (or equivalent)
- Confident communicating with clients and other team members
- 3-5yrs development experience - ideally within an agency environment
