Snow mean feat
23 March 2017

Any idea is only limited by the scope of your ambition and when you're THIS ambitious get interesting. Using code, autonomous robots and a ton of snow to create an alpine masterpiece to bring the world closer to the live action at the Alpine Ski Championships, Designers and film makers Unit 9 programmed a battalion of autonomous robots to craft fan messages in the snow. The result was an alpine artwork masterpiece – the size of 16 soccer fields.
“We programmed the robots using algorithms made for self-driving cars – with some special additions. For the really tight turns the robot’s auger pivots automatically, reducing the surface area in the snow and maintaining a precise drawing.” said Dimitris Doukas, Technical Director

Testimonials
"Potting Shed took the time to understand the product and our purpose and created a clean, fun and fresh look which our clients comment on regularly. They then took the brand and product to the next level for us by creating our product video and website, and the storyboard and visual process that the team created really brought it to life."

"We worked alongside Potting Shed to create an identity that embodies who we are, and why we do what we do. These projects have contributed to a more connected team who believe in our organisation at a deep level. When your people believe in what you do and take ownership over their culture and workplace, growth is the natural outcome."
