Every now and again work we produce doesn’t get the chance to see the light of day, so we thought we would show you one we are very proud of. I-Start was a brand identity to promote digital businesses to start up here with government support.
Unusually we started from animation backwards. The brand clearly had to convey its business arena (i.e. digital), be vibrant in representing the environment of ‘doing business in Jersey’ whilst ultimately dynamic.
The animation of the ident came first and we ended up developing an entire bespoke pixelated typeface to use on all communications. The animation begins with a single pixel of an idea and grows to generate the entire supporting brand of I-Start.
We then exercised the extent of which the brand could be taken with its bespoke built typeface.
